I am runing Windows 7 and connected to USB3.0 port. This also gives you caneasily take your treasured content. Initializing would erase all data stored in the drive, proceed only when you have a backup of files. I have to connect it through a bizarre way to make it show up in explorer.I realizes there were threads related to the same issue, but it's not what I am looking.
